I’m delighted to announce the creation of a new series: Time Hunters, a spin-off of Jane’s Warlord. 

Deep inside what will one day be called Georgia’s Blue Ridge Mountains is a facility named the Outpost.  A combination police department, hospital and time-travel hub, the Outpost is manned by a unit of devoted law enforcement officers.  All of them are genetically engineered cyborgs dedicated to protecting time travelers from each other.

The first book of the series is Warrior, which will hit shelves July 1, 2008.  Warlord Galar Arvid is sent to the twenty-first century to protect artist Jessica Kelly from a murderous time-traveling art thief. 

But Galar soon realizes that the situation is far more complicated and dangerous than he thought.  He takes Jessica back to the Outpost, where she must learn to adapt to a strange new world – and her attraction to her handsome savior.

Time Hunters: Enforcer

I’m now in the process of writing the second book in the series, Enforcer.

Enforcer Dona Astryr is being hunted by an escaped traitor who means to kill her. Yet Temporal Enforcement treason investigator Alex Corydon thinks she, too, is a traitor who is in on the killer’s vicious plot.

As if Dona’s life isn’t complicated enough, she’s fallen hopelessly in love with Chief Enforcer Alerio Dyami, her superior officer on the Outpost. Dyami is just as obsessed with her, but neither can act on the emotion.

Then the traitor moves against them both, stranding them back in time during the American Revolution. With their time travel armor disabled, they must fight their way to British-occupied New York City in order to find a way back to their own time.

Even as they dodge both Patriots and British forces, they’re being stalked by the traitor, who means to murder them both.
